We had a wonderful time with Kelvin guiding us around the Masai Mara Reserve! Kelvin was a wealth of information about the wildlife. Kelvin was great. Very knowledgeable about all the animals. Good driver. Highly recommend Utamandani courtyard restaurant for lunch. Went in May so park wasn't too full. GrassesKelvin was great. Are these day tours private?
Yes. Your tour uses a vehicle and guide for your party. Parks, attractions and the Elephant Nursery’s public visit are shared with other visitors.
What vehicle and accommodation options are available?
Choose a private Land Cruiser 4x4 or safari minivan. These day tours include no overnight stay. Budget, Mid-Range and Luxury accommodation options are available for a separately arranged stay. Check the selected tour package for its vehicle and price basis; different options may have different prices.
Where do you pick up and drop off?
Pickup and drop-off are available at Nairobi hotels and Airbnbs. Airport pickup is by arrangement. Your selected tour’s programme sets the departure and return schedule; share your location when booking.
Are entry fees, activities and meals included?
Inclusions differ by tour. Read the selected tour’s included and excluded items before booking. Every tour visiting Lake Naivasha includes the boat ride and Crescent Island walk. Optional purchases and activities outside the written inclusions are separate.
Does an Elephant Nursery tour require advance booking?
Yes. The public visit is 11am–noon, except 25 December, and requires advance booking and official Sheldrick Wildlife Trust confirmation. Nursery admission and KWS park entry are separate charges; the selected tour’s inclusions state which are covered. Same-day Nursery bookings are not available.

What is the cancellation policy for day tours?
For day tours, the published policy provides a refund for cancellation at least 48 hours before departure, subject to transaction fees, the policy’s administrative deduction and applicable supplier conditions.
