4-Day Tsavo & Diani Beach Combo – Safari Then Sun & Sand

4 Days 3 Nights

Overview

A Tsavo and Diani Beach combo safari perfectly combines two of Kenya’s most compelling experiences into a single seamless journey, transitioning from the raw drama of Big Five game drives in Africa’s largest national park to the serene turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. This 4-day adventure begins in the legendary Tsavo National Park, where vast red-earthed plains, iconic red-dusted elephant herds, and the legendary Tsavo lions create an intense and memorable safari atmosphere. After your wildlife-rich safari days, the journey continues south to the Kenyan coast where the brilliant white sand beach of Diani stretches for over 17 kilometres along a pristine Indian Ocean shoreline fringed by swaying coconut palms, vibrant coral reefs, and the warm azure water of the Kenyan coast. Diani Beach is consistently rated one of Africa’s best beaches, offering exceptional swimming, snorkelling, diving, and water sports in a tropical setting. The combination of savannah and ocean in a single trip captures the true diversity of Kenya as a destination, delivering everything from a lion hunt at dawn to a dhow sunset cruise at dusk in just four days. Your beach accommodation provides a luxurious base to unwind after the excitement of the safari, where the stress of ordinary life gives way to ocean breezes, freshly caught seafood, and the simple rhythm of sun, sea, and sand. This Tsavo Diani combo is the ultimate Kenya holiday for travellers who refuse to choose between wildlife and beach, offering the best of both worlds within easy driving distance of each other.

Highly recommend Kelvin of Rustic Nature Tours. We saw his great reviews on Facebook. We wanted to be in a small group and to visit the elephants orphanage and giraffe santiary in Nairobi. Kevin delivered all this and took us to a wonderful community project making beautiful beads. We highly recommend Kelvin and his professionalism.

We wanted to be in a small group and wanted to do a half day tour to experience the amazing elephant orphanage in Nairobi National Park and the giraffes sanctuary. We also didn’t want to have to go out too early having only just arrived. Kelvin of ‘Rustic Nature Tours’ delivered this all perfectly for us. A she took us to a community project supporting local women with making beautiful beads which was wonderful. He was very knowledgable and interesting and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and this company. They also do all sorts of Safaris so we will contact him again when we return. PS please note separate to any tour booking the guest must pay a park fee per person and it’s best to do this in advance via the National park website

Found Rustic tours via a recommendation on Facebook as I needed a Nairobi layover tour guide. Contacted Kelvin and we agreed quickly on what to do and see. He picked us up on airport in the morning in his crazy safari car and we saw downtown, giraffes and we did the Nairobi safari. Got to day that I laughed a lot with Kelvin as he is a great person! He did everything he could so we could see as much as possible in our short time window. See you again my friend!

Had a long layover and booked this last minute. So glad I did! Nicole kept our bags in the car and took us back to the airport after the drive. What a drive! Saw a family of rhinos and a pride of lions. Nicole also recommended a Kenyan cuisine restaurant when we asked. She was very knowledgeable, funny, and we really enjoyed our time with her and the tour. Recommend to everyone

What a fantastic day tour to Nairobi National Park, Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage, and a surprise garden lunch. Our guide, Calvin, a top notch birder and guide paced the day perfectly and provided us with an excellent experience! We have travelled to Kenya multiple times, but our private tour with Rustic Nature Tours and Calvin in particular ranks as a highlight among our experiences.

The sights were once in a lifetime - elephant orphanage and giraffe sanctuary worth a trip to Nairobi. Kelvin, our guide, was great - picked us up on time, pointed out animals on the way, was full of information. Will refer any friends visiting Nairobi his way!
