Arrive in time for lunch at one of the charming lodges nestled along its shores. In the afternoon, take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha where you can observe hippos wallowing in the water and spot numerous bird species including fish eagles, pelicans, and kingfishers. For those interested in exploring further afield, a guided walk on Crescent Island—technically a peninsula—is highly recommended. Here you can walk among giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes without any predators around.

After breakfast by the lake, continue your journey towards Amboseli National Park located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro—the highest peak in Africa. Arrive at Amboseli in time for lunch followed by some relaxation at your lodge or camp with spectacular views of Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit (weather permitting).
