As you drive towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy, enjoy the dramatic change in scenery as the urban backdrop of Nairobi gives way to the open plains and rolling hills of central Kenya. Upon arrival at Ol Pejeta, you’ll have the unique opportunity to see the Big Five, with a particular emphasis on the conservancy’s efforts to protect the endangered black rhino. After an exciting afternoon game drive, retire to your camp or lodge, savoring a delicious meal and perhaps even a campfire under the vast African sky.

Day2 :

Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru National Park

Awaken to the sounds of the African wilderness and embark on an early morning game drive in Ol Pejeta, maximizing your chances to see the wildlife in its most active state. Post breakfast, journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive will be scenic, transitioning from the Laikipia Plateau to the stunning Great Rift Valley. Once in Lake Nakuru, you’ll be treated to a sea of pink, thanks to the thousands of flamingos that flock to the alkaline lake, set against the backdrop of wooded and bushy grasslands. Besides the flamingos, the park is also a sanctuary to rhinos, lions, baboons, and many other species. Overnight will be at a lodge or campsite near the lake.

Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Full Day in Maasai Mara National Reserve

This day is dedicated to exploring the magnificent Maasai Mara. Opt for a balloon safari at dawn, drifting silently above the plains with the wildlife below, followed by a luxurious champagne breakfast. If you visit during the Great Migration period (typically July to October), you’ll witness the incredible sight of over a million wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes crossing the plains and taking their chances against predators in the Mara River.
