Itinerary
Eight days combining Nairobi city visits, two Mara nights, two Amboseli nights and two Diani nights. Included internal flights connect Wilson Airport, the Mara, Amboseli, Ukunda and the return to Nairobi.
The Nairobi programme starts with a visit to the Giraffe Centre in Langata, followed by the Karen Blixen Museum in Karen. These two stops combine a close view of the giraffes from the visitor platform with an exploration of the historic farmhouse and its setting.
A short game drive in Nairobi National Park follows later in the day. The guide leads a wildlife-viewing circuit within the park before the party returns to the Nairobi hotel for the first night and the following day’s departure to the Mara.
The party transfers to Nairobi Wilson Airport for the flight to the Maasai Mara. On landing, the destination safari guide meets the party for the transfer to the safari base and the scheduled afternoon game drive.
The first outing explores the Mara’s open grassland and woodland viewing areas. Viewing stops follow the animals encountered along the authorised circuit, providing an introduction to the new destination before returning to the safari base. The air connection links this destination with the preceding stage of the journey.
The first Mara evening includes the scheduled sundowner stop before returning to the safari base.
Morning and afternoon game drives provide a full day in the Maasai Mara. The morning circuit explores the reserve’s grasslands and riverine areas, with your private guide pausing at wildlife encountered along the route and explaining the behaviour and landscape visible from the vehicle.
Time back at the safari base separates the two outings. The afternoon drive resumes the park exploration, allowing another period of wildlife observation and photography before returning to the same base. The viewing circuit follows the animals encountered rather than a promised checklist of sightings.
The day concludes with the scheduled sundowner experience in the field before the second Mara night.

The party checks out in Amboseli and transfers to the airstrip for the flight to Ukunda. On arrival, the coastal transfer continues to the Diani Beach resort, marking the change from the wildlife parks to the Indian Ocean coast.
The afternoon is free for relaxation at the resort and beach after check-in. No guided excursion is scheduled for this arrival period, allowing the coastal stay to begin at the party’s own pace.
The Diani day begins with the scheduled guided snorkelling excursion to the offshore reef gardens. The outing provides time to observe the marine environment with the excursion guide before returning to the resort for the afternoon.
The remaining programme offers optional choices: a sunset dhow cruise, a Shimba Hills excursion or spa treatments. These are separately arranged activities rather than compulsory stages of the day. The party spends a second night at Diani before the final flight back to Nairobi.
The party checks out at Diani Beach and transfers to Ukunda Airstrip for the included flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. This final air connection completes the eight-day route after the city, Mara, Amboseli and coastal stages.
The programme ends in Nairobi. No additional wildlife drive or city excursion is scheduled after the return flight.

The Giraffe Centre provides conservation education and a managed giraffe-feeding platform. Its staff prescribe the feeding method and provide the approved pellets. The animals remain wild; follow staff instructions and do not treat feeding access as permission for unrestricted touching.
The itinerary lists overnight accommodation as: City Hotel; Luxury Safari Lodge; Luxury Beach Resort. Luxury depends on the actual property, room category, location and service plan. The written quotation names those services. A safari title or a tented-room label does not establish private facilities, a premium room or a particular lodge standard.
The migrating wildebeest herds move between the Serengeti and the Mara. The Mara Conservancy describes the Mara season as usually beginning in June or July and continuing into November. Arrival, departure and river crossings vary with the herds; a travel date cannot establish a crossing time.

Diani provides an Indian Ocean beach stay. Swimming, snorkelling, diving and boat excursions depend on the selected operator, equipment, tides and sea conditions; they are separate from the beach accommodation unless included in the booking. Non-swimmers need an activity suitable for their ability and the operator's briefing.
