4-Days Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru Safari

The safari leaves Nairobi and travels through the Great Rift Valley towards the Maasai Mara. Arrival at the safari base is followed by the planned afternoon game drive in the reserve.

The first outing introduces the Mara’s grasslands and wildlife habitats, with the private guide pausing at animals encountered along the viewing circuit. The drive returns to the safari base for the first of two Mara nights.

A full day of private game drives explores the Maasai Mara’s wildlife landscape. The guide follows permitted viewing circuits and the wildlife present during the visit, allowing time to watch behaviour and photograph the surroundings.

The programme provides the flexibility to spend time with a sighting before continuing to other viewing areas. A Maasai village visit is optional and separately arranged; the day concludes with the second Mara overnight before departure for Nakuru.

The party leaves the Maasai Mara and travels to Lake Nakuru National Park. The afternoon game drive introduces the lake-margin and woodland habitats after arrival in the Nakuru area.

The guide follows the park’s wildlife-viewing circuits and pauses for animals and birds encountered along the route. The outing ends at the Nakuru base for the safari’s third and final night.

A final morning game drive completes the Lake Nakuru wildlife programme. The guide follows a park circuit for another period of wildlife and bird observation before the departure from Nakuru.

The private vehicle then returns to Nairobi, where the safari ends at the agreed drop-off point. This final stage completes the four-day route after the Mara and Nakuru stays.
