Day 01 :

Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Your guide collects your party in Nairobi for the road journey to the Maasai Mara through the Great Rift Valley and Narok. The route passes the Rift Valley escarpment and continues southwest through Maasai country towards the reserve. After arrival and time to settle in, the first afternoon game drive introduces the Mara landscape. Your guide follows authorised tracks through accessible grassland and woodland habitats, looking for resident wildlife and explaining the areas explored during the safari. The drive returns to your Mara base towards the end of the day.

Day 02 :

Maasai Mara Predator Safari

The first full wildlife day begins with a morning game drive in the viewing areas around your Mara base. Your professional safari guide explores suitable grassland and riverine habitats, following current wildlife movements and allowing time to observe animals encountered along the route. The programme focuses on predators and other resident wildlife without promising a particular sighting or hunt. A break at your base separates the morning outing from the afternoon game drive. River areas are explored when they form part of the agreed viewing route, with opportunities to look for hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds. The afternoon drive returns for the evening.

Day 03 :

Maasai Mara Game Drives

The second full wildlife day continues with morning and afternoon private game drives. Your guide builds on the previous outings, revisiting productive areas or exploring further accessible habitats within the agreed viewing sector. The drives provide time for patient wildlife observation and for seeing how the Mara landscape changes through the day. A Mara Triangle visit is part of the programme only when specifically arranged and included in the quotation. Hosted bush breakfasts and sundowners remain optional, separately priced experiences; their inclusion is established when those activities are arranged. The final evening is spent at your Mara base.

Day 04 :

Maasai Mara to Nairobi

After checkout, your party leaves the Maasai Mara for the private road journey back to Nairobi. The route passes through Narok and the Great Rift Valley before climbing towards the capital, completing the return through the landscapes introduced on the first day. The safari ends with the agreed Nairobi drop-off. No morning game drive is included on this departure day.
