The party checks out of the Mara accommodation and transfers to the airstrip for the booked flight itinerary to Amboseli. On arrival, the Amboseli guide meets the party for the transfer to the accommodation and the start of the two-night stay. The afternoon game drive explores Amboseli’s wetlands, open plains and woodland habitats, giving time to observe elephants and other wildlife encountered along the route. Mount Kilimanjaro forms a backdrop when visible. The session introduces the park before the following full day of exploration, and the party returns to the accommodation at the end of the afternoon.

The first full Diani day is at leisure, with time to enjoy the beach setting and the accommodation’s facilities. Snorkelling excursions, water sports and a dhow sunset cruise are optional, separately charged activities rather than included parts of this day. These outings provide different ways to explore the coast when arranged, while the standard programme leaves the day unstructured. Time along the shoreline and at the accommodation provides a change of pace after the Mara and Amboseli drives. The party stays at the same Diani accommodation for the second coastal night, ready for another full leisure day.

A second full leisure day continues the Diani stay without a scheduled included excursion. Optional outings include the separately arranged Kisite-Mpunguti marine excursion or a Colobus Conservation visit; diving, snorkelling and water sports require their own activity arrangements. The day also leaves time for beach and accommodation leisure. Time at the accommodation and beach remains available between any separately arranged activities, keeping this a leisure day within the coastal stay. This final full day gives the coastal section two complete leisure days between arrival and departure, followed by the third and final Diani overnight stay.
